Role Overview

Join Joveo as a Fresher Java Developer (Remote) and start your engineering career building Java-powered backend systems. You’ll work on production services, learn through mentorship, and contribute to a codebase that processes millions of daily transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Write Java code for backend microservices and APIs under senior guidance
Learn Spring Boot and modern Java engineering practices in a production environment
Fix bugs, add unit tests, and contribute to feature development
Participate in code reviews and learn by reviewing others’ code
Build fundamentals in databases, APIs, and distributed systems
Grow via structured mentorship, 1:1s, and real project ownership

Required Skills & Qualifications

Recent graduate or up to 1 year of Java development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
Solid understanding of Java fundamentals (OOP, collections, exception handling)
Familiarity with Spring / Spring Boot (or equivalent Java frameworks)
Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
