Role Overview

Freelance Web Developer to build and enhance an innovative e-commerce housing platform using WordPress and WooCommerce. You’ll help deliver a user-friendly, scalable, and secure online experience for housing-related products and services.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a robust WordPress-based e-commerce platform for housing solutions
Integrate and customize WooCommerce features for:
- product listings
- payments
- user management
Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine platform features and user experience
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise
Provide documentation and support for ongoing platform maintenance

Requirements

Proven experience building WordPress and WooCommerce e-commerce websites
Strong proficiency in:
- PHP
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- MySQL
Ability to customize WordPress themes and plugins
Experience with payment gateway integration and e-commerce best practices
Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and deliver on schedule
Availability for remote, contract-based work
