About the role
Role Overview
Freelance UX Researcher (Legal domain) embedded with a client specializing in the Legal sector and using AI tools. You will run mainly moderated qualitative UX research studies (both evaluative and generative), with occasional unmoderated surveys where minimal/no quantitative analysis is required.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX research: plan, execute, collect data, analyze, and report results
- Design research methodologies tailored to project goals and objectives
- Lead project execution: manage planning, delivery, and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (internal and external) to meet objectives
- Communicate insights: present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to clients
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing strategic, actionable guidance for decisions
Requirements
- 6+ years of UX Research experience
- Legal domain experience
- Experience using GenAI tools
- Ability to run studies end-to-end, including research plan creation, survey development/distribution, data collection/analysis, and presenting findings
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners
Preferred
- Experience in a UX agency setting
- Experience in client consulting roles (e.g., business/management consulting or UX consulting)
- Experience with tools such as Qualtrics, Lookback, and Figma
