About the role

Role Overview

Freelance Software Engineer (AI Trainer) working with DataAnnotation to develop and evaluate code used to train AI systems. The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule and paid hourly projects.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Strong writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer

Preferred / Technical Requirements

Preferred: Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C++, C#, React, Go, Java, Swift

Logistics / Compensation

Fully remote: available to people located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
Paid hourly: up to $60 USD/hour; higher-paying projects may be available based on performance
Payment via PayPal
Entry via a short assessment after account signup; paid work is unlocked after passing
