About the role
Role: Freelance Software Engineer - AI Trainer
Freelance coding role supporting the development of AI systems through programming tasks, code evaluation, and feedback.
Work Model
- Fully remote (work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand)
- Flexible schedule: choose which projects to take and when you work
- Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects possible with strong performance)
- Work becomes available after completing a short assessment (acts as an interview)
Responsibilities
- Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
- Provide feedback that helps shape next-generation AI models
Requirements
- English fluency (native or bilingual)
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kotlin
- Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
- Prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer / Coder
