About the role

Role overview

Freelance App Developer (AI Trainer) joining DataAnnotation’s coding team. You’ll help train AI systems by solving programming tasks, building app features (with an emphasis on Android development), and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, emphasizing Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Strong writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Engineer/Programmer

Preferred / Technical skills

Kotlin experience (preferred)
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Work model & logistics

Fully remote with a flexible schedule; choose which projects to take on and when
Paid hourly per project after completing a short assessment
Payment via PayPal

Location eligibility

Work is available only to candidates in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
