About the role

Role Overview

Freelance App Developer – AI Trainer (Android-focused). You’ll help develop and refine AI systems by completing coding tasks and evaluating AI-generated code as part of DataAnnotation’s coding team.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development.
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that helps shape future AI model outputs.

Requirements

Fluent English (native or bilingual).
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer / Coder / Software Engineer / Programmer.

Preferred Skills

Kotlin experience (preferred).
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.

Work Model & Logistics

Fully remote with a flexible schedule (choose projects and when you work).
Paid hourly per project, starting at $50–$100+/hr; higher rates possible with strong performance.
Payment via PayPal; work is available only to approved countries.
