Freelance App Developer - AI Trainer

Role Overview

Freelance App Developer – AI Trainer (Android-focused). Join DataAnnotation’s coding team to design and evaluate programming work that helps train and improve AI models. This role is fully remote, with flexible scheduling and hourly paid projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with emphasis on Android development
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models

Requirements

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
• Excellent writing and grammar skills
• Prior experience as a Software Developer / Coder / Software Engineer / Programmer (preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kotlin
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Compensation & Logistics

• Paid hourly, starting at $50–$100+/hr (higher rates with strong performance)
