About the role
Role overview
Freelance App Developer – AI Trainer working with DataAnnotation’s coding community to develop and train cutting-edge AI systems. The role is fully remote with flexible scheduling and paid hourly programming work.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
- Provide feedback that directly improves the next generation of AI models
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer
- Kotlin experience
- Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Compensation and work style
- Fully remote; work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
- Flexible schedule; choose which projects to take on and when you work
- Competitive pay: up to $60 USD/hour, with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
