Role overview

Freelance App Developer – AI Trainer working with DataAnnotation’s coding community to develop and train cutting-edge AI systems. The role is fully remote with flexible scheduling and paid hourly programming work.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly improves the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)

Preferred qualifications

Experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer
Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Compensation and work style

Fully remote; work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
Flexible schedule; choose which projects to take on and when you work
Competitive pay: up to $60 USD/hour, with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
