FP&A Systems and AI Manager

Role Overview

Join Sprout Social as an FP&A Systems and AI Manager. You will design, build, and continuously improve Pigment workflows, train finance business partners to become self-sufficient, and lead system enhancements by translating business needs into planning and automation improvements.

Key Missions

• Pigment workflows: Design, build, and continuously improve workflows in Pigment to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and headcount planning.
• Enable finance teams: Train and empower FP&A/finance business partners to build models, dashboards, and reports in Pigment without relying on a systems specialist.
• Hands-on modeling: Build and maintain foundational models directly in Pigment for planning cycles and ad hoc analysis.
• Partnership & roadmap: Work with FP&A leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate evolving requirements into system enhancements and process improvements.
• Automation & AI: Apply AI and automation to finance workflows and develop new use cases, including leveraging Pigment’s AI capabilities (and integration with LLMs).
• Integrations & data governance: Own data pipelines and integrations between Pigment and external finance/CRM/HR systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, HRIS/headcount tools).

Requirements

• 3–5+ years implementing Pigment or a comparable EPM/FP&A planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Planning), including hands-on build/configuration.
• Deep, hands-on Pigment expertise: model architecture, formula logic, workflow design, and system administration.
• Strong ability to train non-technical finance partners to build their own models and reporting.
• Hands-on experience comfortable in both formula logic and data pipelines within Pigment.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity and system accuracy at scale.
• Experience applying AI/automation to finance workflows.
• Experience integrating Pigment/EPM with external systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and HRIS/headcount tools (e.g., TeamOhana, Workday).
• SQL experience and a solid understanding of data flows, integrations, and governance.
• Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Pigment native AI capabilities and experience integrating planning tools with LLMs such as Claude.
• Direct experience partnering with FP&A/corporate finance leadership to shape an automation/systems roadmap.
