Responsibilities
Systems Ownership & Architecture
- Own and administer Workday Adaptive Planning (model structure, data integrations, and ongoing maintenance)
- Manage all data flows into/out of Adaptive (accuracy across ERP, CRM, and data warehouse)
- Build and maintain automated, consolidated financial reporting files that reliably refresh for monthly SLT and Board/investor review
- Continuously evaluate and scale the planning tool as the business grows (new modules, workflows, integrations)
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Manage expense budgeting and full P&L reporting across the business
- Forecast and analyze bookings, revenue, labor, and EBITDA performance
- Drive ACV/ARR forecasting and performance analysis (bookings, expansion, churn, net revenue retention (NRR))
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts plus variance analysis
- Support the annual operating planning process end-to-end
Business Partnership
- Advise department leaders by translating financial data into clear, actionable narratives
- Identify opportunities to automate manual work and improve speed/accuracy of analysis (including AI/automation where applicable)
- Present insights directly to executive leadership
Requirements
- 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience (ideally SaaS, subscription, or PE-backed)
- Hands-on implementation and/or administration experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (must-have)
- Experience with SaaS metrics: ACV/ARR, bookings, churn, expansion, and NRR
- Experience owning full P&L or expense-vertical planning/reporting
- Proven ability to build scalable, automated reporting infrastructure (e.g., multi-entity consolidation for board-ready packages)
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills; comfortable partnering with C-suite stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Self-starter with bias toward automation and process improvement
Nice-to-Haves
- Advanced certifications (e.g., HBS Finance & Accounting certificate)
- Experience with additional financial systems (not fully specified in posting)
