FP&A Analyst

Join Tiger Data to drive financial planning and analysis for a fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Own planning and analysis across:
    • Headcount planning
    • Cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis
    • Marketing spend evaluation
    • Recurring forecasting updates
  • Prepare recurring financial slides and executive materials for leadership and the Board, including written performance updates explaining:
    • What changed
    • Why it changed
    • What needs attention
  • Improve recurring FP&A processes, templates, and reporting workflows to increase speed and consistency for the finance organization

Requirements

  • Strong FP&A experience including forecasting, headcount planning, budget management, and variance analysis
  • Strong spreadsheet and financial modeling skills; comfortable working with large or imperfect datasets
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear, written explanations of business performance
  • Comfortable partnering with department leaders and challenging assumptions/spend when plans don’t make sense
  • Can independently manage recurring FP&A processes with limited supervision
  • Strong focus on data integrity (investigates questionable numbers rather than passing them along)

  • Curiosity about how AI can improve finance workflows, with demonstrated judgment in applying AI tools to analytical work
