About the role
Role Overview
Join Imprint as the Founding Product Marketer. You’ll define positioning, launch strategy, and growth for products in a highly cross-functional, hands-on role across the full product lifecycle.
Key Missions
- Define how Imprint positions, launches, and grows its products by developing messaging, buyer perceptions, and narrative.
- Own go-to-market strategy and lead strategy/execution for a product or segment from positioning through launch and enablement.
- Identify and drive the launches, data, and campaigns that keep Imprint top-of-mind and create differentiation.
- Build and execute competitive intelligence, and enable the field.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product marketing experience, ideally with real product launch experience (not just maintenance).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to turn complex internal ideas into clear external language quickly.
- Fluency with modern tools, including using AI to accelerate research, drafting, and competitive work.
- Comfort operating as the first and only product marketing team member in a high-ambiguity environment.
- High standards and velocity; ability to support positioning with data.
- GM mindset: outcome-focused, comfortable owning goals and the plan to hit them.
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in fintech, payments, or enterprise B2B (buyers are payments leaders and their technical counterparts).
