Founding Product Designer (UX/UI)

Role Overview

Founding Product Designer (UX/UI) at ArgusEye. You’ll be the company’s first dedicated design hire, shaping the UX/UI strategy and building the end-to-end product experience for an AI-driven cybersecurity and compliance platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end experience: lead the full product design lifecycle (user research, journey mapping, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and developer-ready prototypes).
• Drive enterprise readiness: design scalable, data-heavy interfaces including dashboards, compliance reporting, audit logs, and RBAC workflows for enterprise security teams.
• Design for AI & trust: create interaction models for agentic AI, copilot experiences, and LLM integrations with transparency, explainability, and trust for security professionals.
• Build the design foundation: establish and scale ArgusEye’s first comprehensive Design System (Figma component libraries that translate to the engineering stack).
• Accelerate go-to-market: partner with the CEO and Head of Sales to create high-polish mockups, interactive prototypes, and design collateral that supports enterprise sales.
• Cross-functional execution: collaborate closely with Engineering (Principal Software Engineer) and Product to ensure designs are feasible, shipped quickly, and iterated from early customer feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive UX/UI or Product Design experience, with strong emphasis on B2B SaaS, complex enterprise software, and/or developer/data tools.
• Proven ability to turn complex, technical workflows into elegant, enterprise-ready experiences (portfolio link required).
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping and workflow-level component/design-system capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Cybersecurity or cyber startup experience.

Location / Logistics

• Based in the United States with remote eligible options and some travel required. Listed locations include San Ramon, CA and Asheville, NC.
