Role: Founding Operator

Full-time Founding Operator at Aurora Genesis, working directly with the Founder & CEO to turn fast-moving strategy into executed company operations.

Where you’ll work

• Remote-first initially
• New York City hybrid once headquarters is secured

Compensation

• $125K–$165K base + meaningful equity

What you’ll do

• Build the company operating system: priorities, dashboards, trackers, documents, workflows, ownership, meeting rhythms, and decision records.
• Run cross-functional execution across product, research, hiring, fundraising, partnerships, legal/IP, and launch.
• Coordinate building Aurora Origins, including:
  • Brain Biography Engine
  • Life Choice Simulator
  • “Control Room” experience
  • Simulation flows
  • Early founding-access product
• Manage early hiring: sourcing, candidate pipelines, interview loops, work samples, references, offer coordination, and onboarding.
• Support fundraising execution by managing investor materials, data rooms, follow-ups, diligence processes, and close logistics.
• Operationalize research/validation across datasets, advisors, academic collaborators, technical contributors, and publication milestones.
• Convert repeated workflows into systems: AI-enabled tools, automations, templates, and playbooks.
• Structure strategic partnerships, including research relationships, advisor engagement, launch partners, and planning for future headquarters.
• Handle whatever is needed week-to-week, then turn recurring needs into repeatable systems.

What we’re looking for

• Experience operating in a zero-to-one, early-stage environment (e.g., founder’s office, venture-backed company, venture studio, consulting, product operations).
• Prior experience operating close to a founder/CEO/senior leadership team.
• Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to build plans from messy, high-context conversations.
