Founding Engineer (Full-Stack/AI) (m/w/d)

Role Overview

Join nemox as a Founding Engineer (Full-Stack/AI) in Munich. You’ll co-lead the technology with the CTO and help shape the technical direction from inception through deployment, integrating AI-powered services into email platforms and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the most critical parts of the product with clean, elegant architecture
• Evaluate, benchmark, and fine-tune AI capabilities to maximize domain accuracy and context fit
• Own a core product end-to-end, including driving the feature roadmap and managing direct customer communication
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
• Lead/own practical technical delivery of AI features in a fast-moving startup environment

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven full-stack development experience with Python and JavaScript and proficiency with React
• Strong interest and ability to build and iterate on technology outside work (notably personal/side projects)
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal), including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical clients
• Thrives in a high-intensity environment with tight deadlines and high ownership
