Role overview

Founding Designer at Saragossa, joining an AI super-agent startup to shape the design culture from scratch. You will own the entire design function and set the standards, processes, and definition of “great design,” working fully remote and shipping features quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own the full design function as the founding designer (end-to-end UX/design ownership)
• Set design standards and build design processes and operating cadence
• Design, prototype, and ship continuously; work is expected to go live quickly
• Partner closely with engineers; be comfortable working in an engineering-driven environment
• Use AI-assisted coding/prototyping tools to move faster
• Iterate based on real-time user response

Requirements

• Senior-level UX/design experience
• Engineering-driven mindset; able to work alongside engineers and speak their language
• Strong proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in high-velocity startups where design decisions are made quickly without heavy approval layers
