Forward Deployed Engineer Agentic Platform

Role overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer for Cohere’s North AI workspace platform, you’ll act as a bridge between the North product team and clients’ engineering teams. You’ll help enterprises securely integrate agentic AI into real-world, sensitive workflows across industries like finance, healthcare, and telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform
• Develop autonomous agents that can interact with sensitive enterprise data
• Rapidly experiment at high velocity while maintaining strong quality
• Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production
• Collaborate with clients to solve complex integration problems
• Work across the stack and troubleshoot issues beyond the primary codebase

Requirements

• Experience working directly with customers
• Fluent English and Arabic
• Shipped Python in production
• Built and deployed highly performant RAG and/or agentic applications (client-side or server-side)
• Strong coding skills; comfortable working across the stack
• Ability to understand and fix issues outside the main code base
• Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

• Strong fit for Agentic AI and customer-driven outcomes
• Candidates should be based in the Middle East or willing to travel/relocate
• Travel: 20–40% anticipated
