Role Overview

The Data Annotation Specialist will join a collaborative team to accurately annotate and label large datasets according to project specifications. The work directly supports machine learning model development for AI-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and label data (images, videos, text, and audio) according to project guidelines
• Ensure annotation accuracy and consistency across large datasets
• Collaborate with project managers and data scientists to understand annotation requirements
• Review and validate annotated data for quality assurance
• Maintain organized records of annotated data and project progress
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to annotation tools or data quality
• Stay current with new annotation techniques and best practices to improve efficiency and quality
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience in data annotation, labeling, or related roles (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and data structures
• Proficiency with annotation tools and software
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• High school diploma or equivalent (degree in computer science/data science or related fields is a plus)
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
