Role Overview

DataAnnotation is hiring a Data Annotation Specialist to accurately annotate and label datasets that support machine learning model development. The work directly contributes to the quality and success of clients’ AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Review raw data (e.g., images, videos, text, audio) and perform accurate labeling/annotation according to project guidelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and data scientists to understand annotation specifications and ensure consistency across datasets.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality, regularly reviewing work and making necessary corrections.
• Document work processes and communicate issues/discrepancies to the team.
• Optionally help update annotation guidelines and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma (bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field preferred).
• Prior experience in data annotation or data entry is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Familiarity with data annotation tools/platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts is beneficial but not required.
