Flutter Developer

Role Overview

Photon is seeking an experienced Flutter Development Lead to lead the development of iOS and Android mobile applications using Flutter.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain mobile applications with Flutter for iOS and Android.
• Oversee the full app lifecycle: conceptualization through deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure cross-platform performance, UI/UX consistency, and native responsiveness.
• Lead integration of RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Implement secure API communication and authentication (e.g., OAuth).
• Architect scalable, modular solutions using clean architecture and appropriate state management.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code and support it with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Enforce secure coding standards to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and optimize app performance (speed, stability, responsiveness) across devices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver high-fidelity implementations.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile application development experience, with strong emphasis on Flutter.
• Proven ability to deploy and publish apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong API integration experience, including RESTful APIs, OAuth, and third-party services.
• Deep knowledge of clean architecture and state management using Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc.
• Experience implementing secure coding practices and ensuring mobile app security.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong ability to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality apps.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Interest in staying current with mobile development trends (including IoT technologies).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, LeSS, or SAFe.

Nice to Have

• Experience/interest in IoT-related mobile work and incorporating emerging mobile development tools and practices.
