About the role
Role overview
As a Flutter Developer, you will build, maintain, and enhance iOS and Android mobile applications using Flutter. You’ll partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable, high-quality features while owning work from implementation through testing and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production-quality mobile apps with Flutter and Dart
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components
- Write clean, structured, testable code following best practices
- Implement comprehensive testing: unit, widget, and integration tests
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Debug, profile, and optimize app performance
- Integrate with backend services via APIs
- Implement and manage Firebase features (Authentication, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, Analytics)
- Integrate push notifications and support tracking mechanisms (as applicable)
- Integrate third-party SDKs, including POS/payment SDKs when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience building mobile apps with Flutter and Dart
- Strong knowledge of Flutter SDK and Dart, including:
- Null safety, custom widgets, animations
- Platform channels and adaptive layouts
- Flutter Web familiarity
- Experience publishing/maintaining apps for both iOS and Android
- Experience with testing approaches, including test-driven development, unit/widget/integration testing
- Experience integrating with REST APIs or GraphQL
- Hands-on experience with Firebase services:
- Authentication, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, Analytics
- Knowledge of push notifications, deep linking, and app tracking
- CI/CD experience for mobile deployment and release workflows (e.g., TestFlight and Google Play internal testing)
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write maintainable code
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
Nice to have
- Experience with a headless CMS such as Strapi
- Spanish language skills
