Flutter Developer

Role Overview

You’ll join Stack Builders Inc. as a Flutter Developer to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using Flutter. The role involves close collaboration with US-based clients and cross-functional teams to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive mobile experiences in a remote, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Flutter mobile apps, meeting quality standards and client requirements
• Implement pixel-perfect UI based on designer prototypes (from tools like Figma) and ensure responsiveness across device sizes
• Integrate RESTful APIs for data retrieval/manipulation
• Handle authentication tokens and API error handling
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Follow best practices for version control and collaborative workflows
• Deploy and manage apps on Google Play and App Store (including app updates and platform guideline compliance)
• Implement push notifications and optimize app performance (speed and efficiency)
• Work in Agile cycles and support CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 3+ years of mobile app development experience with Flutter
• Proven experience deploying production-ready Android and/or iOS apps
• Dart advanced proficiency, including asynchronous programming (Future, Stream, async/await)
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals
• Excellent English written and spoken (client communication)
• Familiarity with Git
• Experience with RESTful API integration
• Ability to translate design prototypes into functional UI

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of deployment processes: Google Play Console and App Store Connect
• Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications
