About the role

Role Overview

Remote, part-time Flutter Developer to build and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android. You’ll collaborate with lead developers and project managers to deliver features that improve everyday user experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile apps using Flutter
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define app features and specifications
Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards/best practices
Implement UI components and integrate backend services
Optimize apps for performance (speed, responsiveness, scalability)
Stay current with industry trends and adopt new technologies when appropriate
Document development phases and monitor application performance
Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery

Requirements

2+ years of professional experience with Flutter
Proven mobile development experience for iOS and/or Android
Strong OOP fundamentals and design patterns
Experience with Git and Jira
Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and debugging
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Availability for meetings 9am–1pm EST, with flexibility outside that window
Willingness to complete identity verification during onboarding

Preferred / Nice to Have

4+ years of software development experience
Readiness to take technical assessments as part of the hiring process
