Flutter Application Developer

Role Overview

Corporate Tools is hiring a Flutter Application Developer to build a brand-new Flutter application from the ground up. This is a remote role (with optional in-office time if you’re near a local office). You’ll help turn ideas into a polished, reliable mobile experience for users.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter for iOS and Android
• Take initiative and contribute without waiting for step-by-step instructions
• Collaborate with a team that moves quickly, experiments often, and shares knowledge
• Connect the app to RESTful APIs and external services
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of the mobile app and backend
• Troubleshoot bugs and refine features as priorities evolve during development
• Implement structured state management using patterns such as Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider

Requirements

• US-based (must be a US resident)
• BS in Computer Science or 4 years of related experience
• 5+ years designing, building, and maintaining complex mobile apps with Flutter
• Deployed the same app to iOS and Android app stores continuously
• Strong proficiency in Dart and solid understanding of Flutter architecture and the widget system
• 5+ years working with the Flutter SDK
• Familiarity with state management approaches: BLoC, Provider, Riverpod (or similar)
• Experience with Git and version control
• Ability to work in an Agile environment with an emphasis on CI/CD
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
• Understanding of mobile app lifecycle, app store releases, and deployment processes
• Pleasant, collaborative working style

• Comfort with shifting priorities during greenfield development
