Role Overview

Flutter Application Developer Intern (Android & iOS) — Unpaid Internship (Remote, USA only)

You will help design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for both Android and iOS using Flutter, gaining real-world product exposure in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter
• Write clean, reusable, efficient code in Dart
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend systems, and third-party services
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, polished interfaces
• Ensure app performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices
• Debug bugs, crashes, and performance issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards
• Maintain and enhance existing mobile features and modules
• Work with product managers, QA, and backend engineers throughout development

Requirements

• Proven Flutter development experience (projects, internships, or professional)
• Strong proficiency in Dart
• Knowledge of mobile architectures (e.g., MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and backend services
• Familiarity with state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, GetX)
• Understanding of Material and Cupertino design systems
• Experience using Git and version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Native Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
• Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Push Notifications)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment
• Experience publishing to Google Play and/or Apple App Store
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum

Internship Details

• Unpaid internship
• Minimum 3 months (extension/conversion possible)
• Flexible working hours; coordination in EST preferred
• Multiple openings; start immediately
• Potential for certificate/recommendation and future paid opportunities based on performance; top performers may be considered for full-time roles post-launch
