Flutter Application Developer Intern (Android & iOS) — Unpaid Internship (Remote, USA only)

Summary

Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile apps for both Android and iOS using Flutter. You’ll work on real product development with hands-on involvement in UI/UX integration, testing, deployment workflows, and collaboration with product, QA, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter
• Write clean, reusable, efficient code in Dart
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend systems, and third-party services
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver polished, responsive interfaces
• Ensure app performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices
• Identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards
• Maintain and enhance existing mobile features/modules
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and backend engineers during development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven Flutter development experience (projects, internships, or professional work)
• Strong proficiency in Dart
• Experience building apps for Android and iOS
• Knowledge of common mobile architectures (e.g., MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and backend services
• Familiarity with state management: Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, GetX, or similar
• Understanding of Material and Cupertino design systems
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred (Bonus)

• Native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) experience
• Familiarity with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Push Notifications)
• Knowledge of CI/CD for mobile deployment
• Experience publishing to Google Play Store / Apple App Store
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum

Internship Details

• Unpaid internship
• Minimum duration: 3 months (extension/conversion possible)
• Multiple openings, immediate start
• Working hours: flexible; coordination in EST preferred
• Certificate of completion and recommendation letter possible; future paid opportunities based on performance
• Top performers may be considered for full-time roles post-launch
