Role overview
Corporate Tools is hiring a Flutter App Developer to build and maintain a new Flutter application from the ground up. The position is remote, with the option to work from or visit local offices near Post Falls, ID or Spokane, WA (or other satellite locations).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android using Flutter
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver features from scratch and improve existing functionality
- Implement structured state management and app architecture using patterns such as:
- Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider
- Connect apps to RESTful APIs and external services
- Optimize for reliability, security, and performance (mobile app and backend)
- Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues; debug and optimize user experience
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or 4 years of related experience
- 5+ years designing, building, and maintaining complex mobile apps with Flutter
- Deployed the same app continuously to the iOS and Android app stores
- Strong proficiency in Dart and solid understanding of Flutter architecture and the widget system
- 5+ years experience working with the Flutter SDK
- Familiarity with state management approaches such as BLoC, Provider, or Riverpod
- Based in the United States (US resident)
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Experience working in an Agile environment with CI
- Understanding of mobile app lifecycle, app store releases, and deployment processes
Nice-to-haves
- Comfortable adapting as priorities shift during a greenfield build
- Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize user experiences
