FLEX Scrum Master II

Role Overview

FLEX Scrum Master II (Temporary) manages agile delivery sprints from planning through execution to review. The role runs daily scrums, unblocks impediments, and coaches cross-functional teams to improve decision-making and continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more delivery teams using Scrum and/or Kanban
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Refinement, Retrospective
• Ensure adherence to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
• Advance agile practices across the organization
• Serve as a servant leader and delivery lead; collaborate with:
  • Product Owners and Product Managers on plans, metrics, roadmaps, and reporting
  • RTE (Release Train Engineer) and technical teams to manage dependencies and flow
• Identify and remove impediments via escalation or peer networks
• Coach teams on Lean and Agile principles
• Support backlog and intake management with Product Owners
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver accurate and timely reporting; communicate clearly to stakeholders

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification
• 7+ years IT experience
• 4+ years Agile Delivery experience using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
• 4+ years planning and problem-solving with product management and delivery teams
• 4+ years creating and delivering presentations and project plans
• 2+ years using tools such as Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) and Clarity and/or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong time management and self-management
• Highly proficient with MS Office, Jira, and Confluence

Preferred

• Scrum Alliance CSM/CSP or PMI-ACP
• SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master
• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Servant leadership experience on an Agile Release Train
• Change management experience aligned to product delivery
• Strong facilitation across multiple organizational levels
