About the role
Role Overview
The Fintech Compliance Analyst will support the Compliance team in delivering the Compliance Management System (CMS), with a primary focus on day-to-day monitoring and review of lending, deposit, and operational activities. The role also supports ongoing oversight of fintech partner programs within the Bank’s Banking as a Service (BaaS) offering.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior and Principal Compliance Analysts and the Compliance Lead in maintaining and executing the CMS and BaaS Compliance Program.
- Conduct day-to-day monitoring and review of compliance activities across lending, deposits, and operational functions.
- Support onboarding and ongoing oversight of fintech partners, including reviewing due diligence and program management materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and guidance for consumer and commercial lending, deposits, and prepaid products.
- Participate in internal/external fintech-facing meetings to identify, discuss, and maintain oversight of program elements, compliance risks, and controls.
- Support issue management, audit management, complaint resolution, marketing reviews, and other related sub-processes.
- Monitor partner controls and key risk indicators; investigate issues and recommend remediation actions.
- Review fintech partner marketing and program collateral to ensure regulatory alignment and compliance standards.
- Prepare for regulatory agency exams and support external audits/reviews.
- Develop effective working relationships across the enterprise and with fintech partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of banking compliance experience.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws/regulations, including (as stated):
- Reg E
- TILA
- (Plus other listed consumer protection and lending/deposit regulations)
