Role Overview
Finance Manager (remote with Chicago-area team presence)
Own financial planning and analysis responsibilities while partnering closely with Supply Chain leadership and internal finance teams. The role offers long-term stability, high visibility, and opportunities to grow through rotations across Finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Own financial models, forecasts, and budgets for expenses
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify risks, trends, and cost-saving opportunities
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close activities, and P&L journal entries
- Partner with operational and supply chain leadership to explain performance and drive cost optimization
- Serve as the primary finance liaison between Supply Chain, Accounting, and FP&A
- Build executive dashboards and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Big 4 or Tier 2 public accounting, finance, or corporate accounting
- Knowledge of GL accounting, journal entries, P&L, and Balance Sheet management
- Ability to translate operational data into financial insights and communicate effectively
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely (no sponsorship)
- Preferred: local to the Chicago area
