About the role

Role Overview

Finance Manager (full-time, remote) responsible for financial planning and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate account reconciliations
Develop and maintain financial models and analyze variances vs. budget
Recommend cost optimization initiatives based on financial analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally on business cases and investment evaluations
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Support external audits, maintain documentation, and contribute to finance operations process improvements

Requirements

Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Experience with financial reporting, cash flow management, and reconciliations
Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial modeling tools, and ERP/accounting systems
Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit support processes
Excellent analytical/problem-solving and data interpretation skills
Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain insights to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field

Nice-to-haves

Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA
Experience in a finance leadership or senior analyst role, ideally in investment, corporate, or holdings environments
