Role Overview

Bridge Defense is seeking a Finance Manager to support accounting, invoicing, financial reporting, and contract administration functions. The role focuses on accurate financial records, timely customer billing, cash-flow monitoring, and compliance with company policies and government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer invoicing and contract billing to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collections to support cash flow.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Support payroll review and reporting, coordinating with HR and payroll providers.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with monitoring contract funding, labor utilization, and project financial performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Support external audits, financial reviews, and government contract compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with program managers and leadership to track expenditures and financial performance.
  • Assist with financial due diligence and data integration for M&A and corporate growth initiatives.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and financial visibility.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting federal government contractors.
  • Experience with Unanet, QuickBooks, Deltek, or similar accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with government contract invoicing and project accounting.
  • Experience supporting financial reviews, audits, or acquisition integrations.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (education details truncated in the posting).
