Finance Manager - Accounting & FP&A

Role Overview

10a Labs is seeking an experienced Finance Manager (Accounting & FP&A) to own and continuously improve financial planning, accounting operations, and strategic finance capabilities. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and business planning while partnering with leadership, department heads, and external accounting partners.

What You’ll Do

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Build and maintain financial models for strategic planning, hiring, investments, and operational decisions
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages with variance analyses and executive dashboards
• Partner with department leaders to develop budgets, monitor spending, and improve financial visibility
• Own cash flow forecasting and help optimize liquidity and working capital
• Oversee month-end and year-end close with external accounting firms, ensuring accurate reporting under GAAP
• Develop, document, and improve financial policies, processes, and internal controls
• Support annual audits and tax filings and other financial compliance requirements
• Create financial analyses and business cases for strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and operational investments
• Assist with board reporting, fundraising, financial due diligence, and investor materials as needed
• Evaluate financial/operational performance by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Develop executive dashboards and KPIs
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate across the organization to support informed, data-driven decision making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
• Proven ownership of budgeting/forecasting/financial planning processes
• Advanced financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting and business performance analyses
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with business leaders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
