About the role
Role Overview
Join Arista’s FedRAMP CloudVision-as-a-Service (CVaaS) SRE team as a Site Reliability Engineer. You will ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of Arista’s global CloudVision service fleet, and help drive projects across data platform architecture, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
Key Missions
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of projects around data platform architecture and performance.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and stability of the CloudVision services at global scale.
- Participate in the FedRAMP on-call rotation, managing incidents with fast, effective responses.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) (preferred).
- Proficiency in Python, Go (Golang), or other programming languages.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or other scripting languages.
- Experience developing or managing deployments of distributed database systems or large-scale SaaS applications.
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing FedRAMP SaaS environments or other highly regulated systems.
Nice to Have
- Direct FedRAMP SaaS experience and deep familiarity with regulated-cloud operational requirements.
