About the role
Role Overview
Hiring an API Developer (Python / FastAPI / AWS) to join a data engineering team supporting the migration of Discover software and building scalable, cloud-native API solutions. This is a remote C2C/W2 opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Build RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Develop and deploy solutions on AWS
- Support application migration and integration work
- Collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to architecture decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI
- Practical experience with AWS architecture and development
- Experience building APIs from scratch
- Knowledge of API security
- Experience with Git workflows
Nice to Have
- Finance domain experience
- Experience with migration projects
- CI/CD
- Microservices experience
