Enterprise Solutions Architect - World Financial Group

Role Overview

Design and develop modern enterprise solutions architectures to enable a data-driven digital business. Lead data strategy, enterprise data platform capabilities, and architectural decisions across cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert and lead architecture development programs and projects.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment.
• Architect, build, and support enterprise data infrastructure and tools across cloud and on-premises.
• Design reusable, scalable, data-driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks for:
  • structured and unstructured ingestion
  • batch processing
  • real-time streaming delivery
• Lead development of data APIs and data delivery services for operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications.
• Select and integrate data tools, frameworks, and applications to expand platform capabilities.
• Recommend and implement best practices for enterprise data management, including:
  • master data, reference data
  • metadata
  • data quality and lineage
• Stay current with architecture and technology advances; rapidly learn new technologies to support deliverables.
• May manage/coach staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years total experience across architecture/enterprise roadmaps, analytics, cloud/IT strategy, innovation, SAFE, TOGAF, and data integration.
• 4+ years architecting/building/administering complex architectures and real-time streaming analytics in both on-prem and cloud.
• Expertise in SQL for data profiling, analysis, and extraction.
• Familiarity with data science techniques and frameworks.
• 3+ years experience in these areas:
  1. Architecting/building/administering large-scale distributed applications
  2. Linux operations and development (CLI/basic commands/shell scripting: Bash/PowerShell)
  3. Architecting scalable containerized applications with orchestration
  4. Execution of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD
• Delivery management with strong customer focus; analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership communication across management levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Advanced analytics and machine learning concepts/implementations.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of big data and real-time streaming analytics processing ecosystems.
• Data lake / data warehouse architecture and implementation (including MPP, data streams).
• Hands-on source-to-target mappings and ETL development.
• Software development experience in relevant languages (e.g., Java, Python, Scala, Node.js, SQL).
• Knowledge of OpenAPI Specification, REST/API design, and security.
• Platform/technology certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft).
