Key missions: As a Solution Architect at Vanta, you will be responsible for securing the technical win and designing solutions for global Enterprise prospects, ensuring successful implementations by validating technical fit and identifying risks.. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to provide exceptional technical guidance and support, unblock deals, and drive revenue growth.. You will lead Discovery and Architecture Workshops, deep-dive into prospect tech stacks, and design comprehensive Technical Success Plans that map Vanta’s platform to complex customer architectures. Profile: - Understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and how to map technical solutions to business value - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong technical background, with proficiency in security protocols, cloud infrastructure, and software integration - Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience, as well as 3+ years being in a pre-sales role as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role, preferably within the security or compliance industry supporting large Enterprise customers - Excellent project management skills and proven track record of successfully managing complex technical sales cycles, running Proof of Concepts (POCs), and driving technical validation - You have a solid understanding of the application development lifecycle and RESTful API design concepts, with considerable experience in scripting against APIs or building API-based integrations - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Azure Solution Architect Professional/Google Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus - You thrive in dynamic environments where ambiguity is common - Experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) is a strong plus - Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET - Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
