Engineering Team Lead / Manager

Role Overview

As an Engineering Team Lead/Manager at Lillio, you’ll bridge product strategy and technical execution while staying hands-on. You’ll lead and grow a team of engineers, improve engineering practices, and help shape the engineering (and company) culture.

Key Missions

• Lead and empower product engineering teams, acting as a bridge between product strategy and delivery
• Manage engineers’ professional and technical growth through regular feedback and tracking career development
• Continuously improve engineering practices and processes across the team and engineering org
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design and build great user experiences
• Help align the roadmap with business objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years experience leading/managing software development teams
• Strong focus on results, with strong problem-solving and communication
• Ability to plan, build, test, and maintain complex software applications
• Collaborative owner mindset, including mentoring and coaching across backgrounds and career levels
• Strong communication skills partnering with Product, Design, and stakeholders
• Strong technical background to guide technical discussions and step in hands-on when needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with SOC2 controls and implementation
• Experience with AWS, Postgres, and Heroku
• Familiarity with observability tools
