About the role

Role Overview

VAST Data is hiring an Engineering Project Manager to bring structure, follow-through, and visibility to a fast-moving technical team. You will coordinate technical projects, refine workflows and documentation, and ensure clear communication across distributed teams.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate technical projects with cross-functional (interfunctional) teams.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and documentation.
Track initiative progress and communicate updates, blockers, and wins to the team.
Own and refine team workflows, ensuring work stays visible and on track.

Requirements

3–6+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, or operations in a fast-paced tech environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; can collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Comfortable working across time zones and with distributed teams (including Israel-based engineering).
Proven ability to build or refine processes in scrappy, high-growth teams (startups/smaller companies preferred).
High ownership mindset: proactively identify gaps and resolve them.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage many concurrent threads.
Experience working with or alongside Sales Engineering, Customer Success, or Technical teams.
Familiarity with Jira and similar ticketing/project management tools.

Nice-to-haves

Experience coordinating technical trainings or enablement programs.
Background in B2B SaaS or infrastructure products.
