Key missions

• Build and manage a team that connects design and engineering to deliver intuitive UI experiences.
• Define the technical vision and strategy for creating and extending UI interface frameworks.
• Partner with design and product engineering teams to understand, sort, and prioritize requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership while collaborating closely with design and product engineering.
• Refine and evolve designs with an understanding of technical constraints.
• Lead people management through mentoring, performance management, and career development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering management experience, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver ambitious projects requiring coordination across multiple teams/departments.
• Strong communication skills balancing technical leadership and people leadership.
• Great recruiting experience building talent-dense teams.
• User-experience obsession and ability to lead through changing requirements.

Technical/Domain experience

• Deep technical experience across some of the following:
  • React
  • CSS and CSS frameworks
  • Mobile web
  • Figma
• Experience building products that use AI.
• Background or experience in Design.
