Role: Engineering Manager (Remote)

Joveo AI is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a product engineering team responsible for the people, process, and technical foundation that enables sustained, high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through regular 1:1s and feedback
Own team delivery: planning, execution, quality, and retrospectives
Partner with product managers to align engineering capacity with roadmap priorities
Drive technical excellence: code quality, system design, and engineering standards
Hire exceptional engineers and build a high-performing, inclusive team culture
Represent the team’s work and needs in cross-functional leadership discussions

Required Qualifications

Experience managing software engineering teams in a technology company
Strong technical background with the ability to engage in architecture discussions and code reviews
Proven track record of growing engineers via coaching, feedback, and career development
Excellent written and verbal communication for distributed, async teams
Experience with Agile delivery, sprint planning, and engineering metrics
Ability to balance technical debt, velocity, and quality trade-offs
