About the role

Role Overview

Engineering Manager (Relationship Intelligence) at Affinity is a hands-on leadership role for driving the platform’s core Relationship Intelligence engine. You will lead an engineering team, shape the technical roadmap, and deliver scalable features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team building the Relationship Intelligence engine
Define the technical roadmap and guide implementation for future product capabilities
Collaborate with Product Management and Design to align engineering delivery with business goals
Build scalable features end-to-end while maintaining high quality, performance, and reliability
Contribute to the development of meaningful, user-focused functionality

Requirements

Experience working with complex SaaS platforms
Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams
8+ years in full-stack software engineering, building scalable web applications handling large volumes of data and rich visualizations
3+ years in engineering management or formal technical leadership (mentorship/coaching)
Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset across functions
Pride in delivering exceptional product quality, performance, and reliability

Nice-to-haves / Preferred Skills

Experience with Ruby, React, TypeScript, and/or PostgreSQL
Experience with CRM-type applications
Experience designing high-scale data models and building data-intensive applications
