About the role

Role Overview

Engineering Manager for CrowdStrike’s Production Services Infrastructure (remote). You will lead a team of Systems Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to architect and manage the production systems powering CrowdStrike’s cybersecurity platform at global scale.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale the engineering team responsible for CrowdStrike’s global production infrastructure
Drive technical strategy for large-scale distributed systems supporting millions of endpoints
Implement AI/ML for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and automated remediation
Mentor and develop a world-class team; establish career development frameworks
Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual operational overhead by thousands of hours annually
Define SLAs, operational metrics, and incident response processes for global infrastructure reliability

Requirements

10+ years engineering experience, including 5+ years leading technical teams (5+ engineers)
Proven track record delivering $100M+ in cost savings via infrastructure optimization
Strong experience scaling engineering organizations and collaborating cross-functionally
Deep expertise in large-scale distributed infrastructure (5M+ servers/endpoints preferred)
Strong background in ML Engineering / AI applications for infrastructure optimization
Expert experience with Kubernetes, virtualization, cloud platforms, and bare metal orchestration
Proficiency in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and configuration management at scale
Experience with observability (log aggregation) and event-driven architecture
Ability to use AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive outcomes
Experience presenting technical strategies to executive leadership
Strong project management for complex, multi-quarter initiatives

Bonus / Nice to Haves

Experience with cybersecurity infrastructure, threat detection platforms, or security operations
Background in Agentic AI, LLM applications, and advanced ML model deployment
Experience building self-service platforms (hundreds of users)
Familiarity with federated platform architectures and statistical analysis
Advanced cloud/ML/infrastructure certifications
Proven ability to reduce time-to-production from months to weeks
