Role overview

Engineering Manager – Product Development & Vertical Brands (Remote) Leads the development and maintenance of best-in-class solutions for the Vertical Brands product group, supporting growth of DICK’S private brands across hardlines and softlines. You’ll oversee a team of 6+ software engineers delivering custom applications and SaaS packaged solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6+ software engineers
• Translate business requirements into effective software solutions with Product Management and Design
• Establish best practices and drive technical excellence through efficient processes and innovation
• Oversee project delivery from concept through deployment, coordinating resources and priorities to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Ensure software initiatives align with business objectives and support Vertical Brands growth
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, high-performing team culture
• Support continuous improvement via coaching, feedback, and professional development
