Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager at Point, you’ll lead two engineering teams focused on AI-driven workflow optimization and automation, improving operational efficiency and driving measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor two engineering teams working on AI-driven workflow automation and operational efficiency.
Define and execute technical strategy for scalable, reliable workflow optimization and automation.
Partner with Product, Data Science, and Operations to identify and implement AI-powered improvements.
Ensure high-quality execution balancing speed, technical excellence, and business outcomes.
Scale and optimize engineering processes, promoting best practices in automation, observability, and system reliability.
Build an engineering culture centered on ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.
Track and measure impact using data-driven evaluation of automation effectiveness.
Hire and develop top talent to keep teams high-performing, engaged, and aligned to company goals.

Requirements

5+ years software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management, leading multiple teams.
Experience scaling engineering teams and delivering high-impact projects with measurable business outcomes.
Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Operations.
Deep technical acumen in backend systems, AI/ML applications, or workflow orchestration (coding experience is a plus but not required).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

Prior hands-on coding experience (not required).
