Role: Engineering Manager, Managed Credentials

You will lead the high-visibility Managed Credentials effort within 1Password’s Enterprise Password Manager, guiding the product from launch into maturity and supporting ongoing work for the Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering.

What Managed Credentials does

• Governs the full lifecycle of company-controlled credentials
• Provides discovery, governance, remediation, auditability, and access control
• Enables security and compliance teams to meet governance and security needs for enterprise adoption

Responsibilities

• Set and support the team’s strategic direction across Managed Credentials and MSP
• Drive alignment and be accountable for team results tied to company objectives
• Collaborate with senior ICs to craft an engaging technical vision
• Work cross-functionally with Product and Design to define solutions for internal and external customers
• Scope and plan deliverables, and drive execution with an emphasis on iterations, quality, and delivery velocity
• Support ongoing team scaling and improve how the team operates (including remotely)

Requirements

• Several years of experience managing engineers
• Strong full-stack web development experience (even if not writing code)
• Ability to discuss complex technical issues and help the team “talk the talk”
• Track record of creating and maintaining a healthy, supportive, high-performing team environment
• Experience creating roadmaps and driving delivery
• Experience managing a remote team
