Engineering Manager

Role Overview

Lyra Health is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small engineering team. You will manage and develop engineers, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure best practices are followed across software development and deployment.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying core product functionality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with partners including Product, Data, and Behavioral Health specialists to align with business and user needs.
• Ensure software quality and reliability by driving adherence to best practices during development and deployment.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture through effective people leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

• 7+ years overall experience, including 1+ year of management experience.
• Demonstrated project management skills and a track record of successful leadership.
• Experience building enterprise or consumer web applications.
• Strong communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Bias to action and strong execution/delivery orientation.
• Excellent technical leadership: guide architecture decisions and long-term platform evolution.
• Comfortable working with Product, Data, and Clinical teams to align technical work with business/user needs.
• Familiarity with AI tools/technologies, especially agentic development, applied to healthcare, personalization, or workflow automation.
• Passion for Lyra’s mission of transforming mental health.
