Role Overview
Join Wrapbook as an Engineering Manager (Frontend) and lead the Frontend Platform team. You will drive the health, delivery, and direction of shared frontend infrastructure and data/reporting systems, while also contributing technically.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Frontend Platform team, ensuring the health, delivery, and direction of shared frontend infrastructure
- Contribute technically through:
- code reviews
- architectural input
- pairing and critical engineering work
- Own and evolve Wrapbook’s shared component system (design-system style)
- Partner with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and deliver the roadmap
- Set a high bar for frontend quality, performance, and developer experience across the organization
Requirements
- Experience building or owning shared component libraries / design systems
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
- 2+ years of engineering management experience with a strong individual contributor background
- Comfortable in a player/coach model (lead and still ship)
- Deep frontend expertise, specifically:
- StimulusJS
- Hotwire
- component systems and modern frontend tooling
- Familiarity with data/reporting systems and how to scale them
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with product and design partners
