Engineering Manager (EverPro)

Role overview

Join EverPro as an Engineering Manager (Senior) for the Invoice Simple brand. You’ll lead and mentor a team of ~9 engineers, drive product-led growth through experimentation, oversee AI innovation, and ensure process excellence—while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Key missions

• Lead & mentor engineers: support professional development, performance, and team culture.
• Product-led growth (PLG) via experimentation: champion A/B testing and rapid prototyping.
• AI technical execution: oversee delivery of AI features and agents, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Process excellence & collaboration: bridge technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders through transparent communication.
• Engineering leadership: bring hands-on technical judgment (background as a Senior Software Engineer) to drive scalable, high-quality software.

Requirements

• Technical leadership: 7+ years of software engineering experience, including prior Senior Software Engineer experience.
• People leadership: 3+ years managing engineering teams (ideally ~7 engineers or multiple pods).
• PLG & Agile: deep understanding of PLG, experiment-driven development, and modern Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Communication: strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Remote leadership: experience leading and motivating distributed teams.
• Hiring ability: demonstrated success interviewing, closing, and retaining highly senior engineering talent (Staff+).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building AI products, LLM integrations, or autonomous agents.
• Production experience with 100k+ user mobile applications.
• Fintech domain experience: payments concepts, APIs, and fintech integrations.
• Startup experience in fast-moving environments.
• Strong full-stack foundation using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB/PostgreSQL.
